I discovered yoga when I was pregnant with my first, Maddie. I was in a lot of pain because of the way she was positioned, and yoga helped me through it. After I had her, I would intermittently pick up yoga again here and there, but I never did it again on a regular basis until a few months ago. I have now re-discovered yoga and its usefulness. Of course, I can’t do any of the crazy positions, I have to do a modified routine created for people with arthritis, but I can honestly say it is a huge help. When i’m in a ton of pain, I make myself suck it up and suffer through a forty minutes routine, and I always feel better afterwords. It’s a lifesaver!
